- Only £2 billion of which comes from the British.
- It is estimated that 8 out of 10 households
- 40% of gamers or females but with only 11% and 9% respectively playing Xbox 360 and Ps3 consoles
- The current sales figures of the three most popular games consoles are as follows
- Wii – 89.9 million
- Xbox 360- 57.6 million
- PS3 – 55.5 million

- Wii sports – Wii
- Super Mario Brothers – NES
- Pokémon – Gameboy
- Duck Hunt - Gameboy
